The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) is the UK's first and largest veterinary school and a constituent College of the University of London. It received the maximum score of 24 out of 24 in an assessment of teaching standards by the Quality Assurance Agency in February 2000 and received 5 out of 5 in the most recent Research Assessment Exercise. It also provides support for the veterinary profession through its three referral hospitals, diagnostic services and continuing professional development courses
