Calling on his early experiences from careers in both industry and education, Philip has spent much of his working life engaged with programmes which bring those two sectors closer together. For many years he was Eastern Regional Director of the CBI’s Education Foundation:

Philip’s expertise in this field has been valued by Government Departments, and over many years he has been seconded into Government Offices as an adviser on the implementation of many policies and initiatives. “It has been really exciting to work with Local Authorities, schools and colleges on so many important innovations, and to encourage collaboration with the business world.”

Philip’s role is to raise awareness of knowledge transfer opportunities to local and regional government offices, business sector support organisations and trade bodies
He is currently based at the University of Essex.
