Domain-Specific Language experts join CG2007 line-up

Release Date:
18 Dec 2006
Code Generation specialists Metacase have announced their sponsorship of Code Generation 2007 a unique software development event to take place in Cambridge in May 2007.

Metacase's CTO and Vice-President, Steven Kelly, said 'Full code generation with Domain-Specific Modeling or Languages is the biggest step forward for our industry since the move from assembler. This event will help you make it happen.'

MetaCase's MetaEdit+ allows developers to obtain modelling and code generation tool support for domain-specific languages (DSM) within days. DSM languages are more expressive than generic UML and allow developers to generate full code, making development less complex and accelerating development time with a factor of 5 to 10.

Code Generation 2007 will bring together leading software developers, vendors and consultants at Cambridge's Homerton College. Cambridge-based Software Acumen, operators of the web's number one free resource on Code Generation - the Code Generation Network - are organizing the event.

The full event programme is under development and the deadline for submission of session proposals is Friday 12th January 2007. Accepted session leaders will have their conference fees waived. Visit the CG2007 web site for more information on submitting a proposal, remaining sponsorship opportunities and participation.
