Description Machine Shop - Gives access to centre lathes and milling machines for machining plastics, metals and timber. Band and circular saws are used for cutting and shaping bulk materials. Vacuum forming machines can be operated with plastics sheet, whilst routers are used for machining timber and sanding and finishing machines are for fine finishing

Casting Room - Facilities casting and mould making using plaster and latex. The room has fettling benches for fine work.

Spray Booth - The water wash spray booth gives access to a large scale industrial painting spraying facility.

Glass Workshop - Equipment for constructing glass using abrasives and water cooled drills

Ceramics Area - Slab and thrown work is supported in this area which has a damp room and kiln room with a variety of kilns providing firing facility for ceramics and an annealing facility for glass
