Practical creativity

Created Date:

Being creative involves being able to 'see things differently' - being aware of different perspectives and perceiving connections within issues. Managers need to be open in this respect and to encourage this openness in their staff. A widely used method for creative problem solving provides a structure for creative thinking. Within this, a number of techniques can be used and these need to be appropriate for both the context and the type of problem.
