Innovation, whether in products or processes, can give businesses significant advantages over competitors. Managers and people who run businesses can aid innovation by removing the common barriers that prevent people being creative. They can also make constructive use of the different complementary styles and capabilities that people bring to their work. In particular, they can encourage and value smaller, less dramatic ideas, as well as the more striking, radical suggestions; both contribute to innovation.After completing this element you should:
