The last few weeks have been packed with web browser advancements and the two market leaders, Internet Explorer and Firefox, have launched major new versions. This is just the latest development in the so-called 'browser 2.0 wars', which has seen some major changes in the way people use and access the Internet.

What do people use to look at your site? Two years ago it would have been a pretty safe bet that they were using Internet Explorer on a PC, but now as many as 20% could be viewing your site with a different browser.
Right now Microsoft still holds onto its huge market lead, but Firefox is gaining more ground every month. Probably more importantly, there are other major innovators in the browser space - such as the social browser Flock and the perennial innovator Opera. The Mac browser Safari has many passionate supporters as does the Mozilla-powered Camino.
