The PHG Foundation is a new international charity, built on the 10 year track record of the Public Health Genetics Unit and Cambridge Genetics Knowledge Park (government funding for the national Genetics Knowledge Park programme ended in March 2007). Our emphasis is on the translation of modern biological research into policy and services to improve health and healthcare. Basic themes include international and national leadership in public health genomics, translating ‘information into knowledge’ and ‘research into practice’, contributing to policy debates and the development and evaluation of services, including genetic testing.
The PHG Foundation is the working name of the Foundation for Genomics and Population Health, a charitable company registered in England and Wales, charity No. 1118664
