aIDEAS has been announced Barclays Award Winner in the 2007 Cambridge Evening News Business Excellence Awards 'Barclays recognises there are many businesses in the Cambridge area who go that extra mile in creating products and services to enhance the lives of people who would otherwise not be able to enjoy the simple things in life that we all take for granted.' The judges said, "His motivation is right.....these are ordinary, practical products being made special....with it's International reach this company could do very well indeed". The company motto of access all areas highlights the aIDEAS less-effort-living philosophy but also encapsulates the good business sense in inclusive design. Indeed founder and senior partner, Dr Martin Sabry used the Barclay Award final judging session to launch the company's latest idea - the aIDEAS Fashionable Asthma Inhaler.
