STOP PRESS - CAMBRIDGE BUSINESS BREAKFAST CLUB ANNOUNCES TWO SCHOLARSHIP MEMBERSHIPS
Two scholarship memberships have been launched by independent referral marketing group Cambridge Business Breakfast Club. New businesses (trading for less than three years) and Women in business (owning or representing a business) are invited to apply for the scholarships at http://www.CambridgeBusinessBreakfastClub.co.uk. The two successful applicants will be awarded membership of Cambridge Business Breakfast Club for one year together with a non-compete promise for their area of representation.
Chairman Elizabeth Cook of The Crunch Bunch said: "Referral marketing is the most effective form of business marketing there is. Building up strong relationships with people who will genuinely do their best for your business is worth far more than advertising or even superficial networking. Elizabeth went on to say: "The first marketing activity I did after forming a company was to join a referral group. It has been the most effective marketing activity and has also been the activity with the highest return on investment."
Simon "The Chair Man" Joss of UK Seating Direct said: "The business I have got through Cambridge Business Breakfast Club has paid for my membership many times over." Scholarship applicants will be invited to attend the August Visitors' Day on Wednesday 13th August 2008 when the awards will be made. Visitors are invited to breakfast every second Wednesday of the month (11th June, 9th July) and there are no joining requirements.
