UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) is organising a trade mission to Japan for UK companies active in the pharma and biotechnology sector.

All UK registered pharma/biotechnology companies are eligible to participate in the mission. The British Embassy in Tokyo and Consulate-General in Osaka will be organising a programme that will add real value to participating companies.  Organisations offering innovative products/technologies and services are particularly welcome. 

2008 is the 150th anniversary of the signing the Anglo- Japanese Treaty of Amity and Commerce; and we are staging a campaign "UK-Japan 2008" to promote UK excellences in the fields of Science & Innovation, Art and Creative industries. This is the event led by the Ambassador and the Bio Trade Mission is to be registered as a campaign event. 

Support Provided and Cost of Participation 
The cost of participating in this mission is £250 per company.
