The £1k low carbon voucher scheme

No matter what kind of business you're in, low carbon issues are going to affect it; supply chain, operations and customers are all part of the challenge. The opportunities are huge to develop cheaper, faster and better solutions and the East of England is leading the way.

The purpose of the £1k low carbon voucher scheme is to stimulate low carbon economic growth by helping SMEs connect with the East of England universities.

Do you need to…
• Increase profitability through low carbon efficiency
• Develop new low carbon technologies, products and services
• Create sustainable business strategies
• Engage consultancy, technical advice and R&D focusing on low carbon
• Bring ideas to market
• Reduce your carbon footprint
• Keep your business lean, mean and green

How can universities help?
i10’s £1k low carbon voucher scheme helps you address these issues by connecting you with relevant university expertise.

How does the scheme work?
The £1,000 voucher pays for up to two days consultancy with an i10 university of your choice. There are fifty £1,000 vouchers available. If you wish to extend the project beyond two days this is negotiated directly with the university.

How to apply? It’s easy…
1. Submit your project on the Ask i10 form or talk to one of our business development managers on 0845 234 2314 and they will submit the Ask i10 form on your behalf.
2. Your information is directed to academic experts in the twelve East of England universities and those universities able to assist will respond directly to you.
3. You decide which university to work with.
4. You complete a simple form to ensure your business is eligible for European funding, and once approved by i10 you’ll receive a voucher for £1,000.
5. The two days consultancy takes place.
6. The £1,000 is paid by i10 direct to the university.
7. If you wish to extend the project beyond two days this is negotiated directly with the university.
