What is Shell STEP?
STEP is short for Shell Technology Enterprise Partnership. This scheme involves a committed undergraduate working for you on a short summer placement to find solutions for specific business or technology problems, from research into new products and markets, to building websites and IT facilities.
What sort of company is Shell STEP aimed at?
Small and medium sized companies, with up to 250 employees
How much does it cost the company?
Approximately £1,600 for an eight week project.
What is the benefit to the company?
The undergraduate will bring the latest ideas and strategies to a company, therefore giving the company a competitive advantage.
How long does the scheme last?
The project takes place over the summer period. Typically they last 8 weeks, but may be slightly shorter or longer if required.
