A red asterisk (*) is used to indicate a field you must complete. If you submit without completing one of these fields the page will re-load with a warning message and the missing field will be outlined in red.

Multiple line fields such as Body allow you to add formatting and links to your content.

Fields like this can be made bigger by dragging the resize button: Your browser will remember the size you set for each field (if you allow cookies).

The Formatting buttons allow you to turn bold on or off, turn italic on or off, make / unmake a bullet list, make/unmake a numbered list, un-indent, indent, make a new link, unmake an existing link, and clear formatting.
To use the Formatting buttons, select a part of the text you have typed by dragging the mouse over it (or placing the cursor in the field and using the keyboard arrows whilst holding down the shift key) and then click on the button you want to use.

When making or unmaking a link a popwindow will appear to allow you to enter details of the link. If the window doesn't appear adjust your browser's popup blocker to allow popups from our site.

Some drop down fields, such as the Categories fields allow you to select more than one line. To select more than one line click on each line whilst holding down the Ctrl or Cmd key.

To add an Image there are two steps.
Firstly, choose an image file from your machine using the 'Browse...' button, and then click the 'Update' button.
Secondly, (after the page re-loads ) enter a textual description for your image in the alternative text field. You can also add an optional tooltip using the title field Alternative text descriptions are an accessibility requirement.
