Syrinix has been developed by Dr Paul Linford as a spin-out company based in the School of Computing Sciences at the University of East Anglia. An Enterprise Development Award, courtesy of university-to-business partners i10, gave him the opportunity to develop and manufacture leak-warning systems for large water pipes. The success of Syrinix all depends on the trials currently underway, but Dr Paul Linford is pleased to report delivery of the first product, and a signed contract with Thames Water.
