Founded in 2001, Haven Gateway Partnership plays a central role in generating economic activity within the area based around the five Haven ports of Felixstowe, Harwich International, Harwich Navyard, Ipswich and Mistley. This area represents the single most important cluster of ports in the UK, owing to its strategic position as a gateway for the British Isles, the European mainland and the wider world.
